The 1 Way Video Interview is an early step in the CarData hiring process. Instead of scheduling a live call, you record short video answers to a set of interview questions on your own time, from your phone or computer.
It lets you put your best foot forward whenever it’s convenient for you, and it helps our hiring team get to know you before the next step.

How It Works

- Enter your name and email address so we can match your interview to your application.
- Allow access to your camera and microphone when your browser asks.
- Each question appears on screen. Read it, take a moment to think, then record your answer.
- Keep an eye on the on-screen timer so you have enough time to finish each answer.
- Once you have answered every question, submit your interview. Our hiring team will review it and follow up with next steps.
Tips for a Great Interview
- Find a quiet spot with good lighting, ideally facing a window or lamp
- Use a strong Wi-Fi or cellular connection
- Hold your phone steady or set it on a stand, at eye level
- Look at the camera, not the screen, when you speak
- Dress as you would for an in-person interview
- Speak clearly and be yourself
- Use real examples from your work or life experience
